FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime Saxo UK executive Philippe de Clauzade de Mazieux is leaving the company, and moving to the UK arm of US online broker TradeStation.

Philippe de Clauzade de Mazieux had been with Saxo UK, the London based, FCA regulated arm of Copenhagen headquartered Retail FX and CFDs broker Saxo Bank, since 2022, most recently serving as Diversification and Trading Activation Manager at Saxo UK. He had previously worked at CMC Markets, managing a portfolio of institutional accounts.

At TradeStation, Philippe will be an Institutional Sales Representative, helping drive growth in the UK market out of TradeStation’s offices in the Barnes district of South West London.

Philippe posted the following note on social media explaining his move.

All great things come to an end — and my time at Saxo UK is officially over.

Saxo has been such a pivotal chapter in my professional journey that I must write about it.

Over the past three years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow, evolve, and take on three different roles — all with the same direction: upwards.

A special thank you to Andrew Bresler, who instilled in me skills I’ll carry throughout my whole career: a data-driven approach to problem solving, a sharp commercial mindset, and a focus on what works (and not wasting time and energy on what doesn’t). The constant challenge made me a more capable, confident professional — and, somehow, a better padel player (though I can’t say the same for him — he’s gotten worse).

Not only that but the culture he created in the office in a matter of few months since his arrival has been very impressive and it was very cool to witness how well he implemented change.

I’m very grateful for the colleagues who made every day enjoyable, especially during high-pressure moments. I would like to mention them all but there are too many.

Those coffee breaks with the beautiful view of Canary Wharf will be missed.

So, what’s next?

I’m taking the biggest step forward in my career so far: next Monday, I’ll be joining TradeStation – the U.S.-based online brokerage and trading platform – known for its advanced charting, technical analysis tools, and customizable trading strategies, as an Institutional Sales Representative, helping drive growth in the UK market. I’ll be based in the Barnes office — ready to step out of my comfort zone, learn, grow, and most importantly, perform.
