Exclusive: KuCoin hires James Pinch as MD Australia

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime CFDs industry executive James Pinch has joined offshore crypto exchange operator KuCoin Exchange, as Managing Director Australia.

James Pinch has previously worked in a variety of operating and compliance related positions at a number of FX and CFDs brokers in Australia including CMC Markets, Vantage, Invast Global (now 26 Degrees), OneRoyal, Ruizean Group, IFS Markets, and Mitrade, where James served as Responsible Manager Australia from 2019-2021.

Most recently, James was Risk and Compliance Committee Member as well as Responsible Manager for crypto trading platform OKX in Australia, before leaving late last year.

KuCoin was founded in China in 2017, but has since moved its domicile to Seychelles. It is typically ranked among the world’s ten leading crypto exchanges by trading volume.
