FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime IG Group executive Karman Wong, who served as Head of Emerging Markets APAC for IG, has left the company. Karman was responsible mainly for IG’s business from clients in mainland China.

Karman Wong, who worked out of IG’s Melbourne, Australia office, had been with IG for more than 12 years, joining initially as a Sales Trader in 2013. In 2016 she was promoted to Vice President China and spent two years in IG’s offices in Shanghai. Karman returned to Melbourne in 2018 as International Business Development Manager – Greater China, and in 2020 attained her role as Head of Emerging Markets APAC.

Karman holds a Master of Finance degree from Melbourne Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University.
