Exclusive: IC Markets’ General Manager Andrew Taylor moves to ACY Securities
FNG Exclusive… There’s movement in the Retail FX sector down under.
FNG has learned that Andrew Taylor, one of the most experienced executives in the Retail FX and CFDs sector in Australia, has moved from IC Markets to rival ASIC-licensed broker ACY Securities.
Andrew Taylor had joined IC Markets – one of the few CFD brokers to top $1 trillion in monthly trading volumes – just over a year ago with the title General Manager, to be the effective “#2” to IC Markets founder, controlling shareholder and longtime CEO Andrew Budzinski. Previously he was CEO of OneRoyal (from 2014-2021), and COO of institutional focused FX broker Invast (2013-2014). He also worked at GFT Markets, Easy Forex (now easyMarkets), Travelex, Tullett Prebon, and Westpac.
Mr. Taylor will become the Managing Director of ACY Securities, a Sydney based, China-focused Retail FX/CFDs broker, reporting directly to CEO Jimmy Ye.
