Exclusive: Freetrade co-founder Davide Fioranelli returns as a Non-Exec Director
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Freetrade co-founder Davide Fioranelli has returned following to the company following a four year absence, re-joining Freetrade’s board as a Non-Executive Director.
Davide Fioranelli co-founded the UK-based neobroker alongside Adam Dodds in 2015, but left Freetrade in 2021 to focus on a new Italy-based venture capital firm called Lumen Ventures, which has invested in a number of fintech and healthtech startups. Adam Dodds remained CEO of Freetrade until mid 2024, when he stepped down from the board and handed the reins to COO Viktor Nebehaj.
Freetrade has had something of a roller-coaster ride over the past few years, posting a £13.9 million (USD $18 million) loss in 2023, although the company has indicated that it is doing much better in 2024.
