FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that online UK retail savings company Flagstone has hired Arman Tahmassebi, as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Arman Tahmassebi spent the past five years as COO of online mortgage platform LendInvest. Prior to joining LendInvest in 2019, Arman spent 19 years in the FX and CFDs trading industry, including 14 years at IG Group, ending his tenure at IG in 2014 as Global Head of Operations. Following a brief stint as COO at London Capital Group, Arman served as CEO of ETX Capital from 2017-2019.

Since launching in 2015, Flagstone has expanded to become the UK’s largest cash savings platform by the number of banks and savings accounts on its panel. Today, Flagstone’s Assets under Administration stand at more than £11 billion, held on behalf of 600,000 individual, business, and charity customers. The company recently received a £108 million investment from Estancia Capital Partners.
