Exclusive: EXANTE LaTAM sales head Luis Simões Pereira moves to Saxo Bank
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that experienced FX and CFDs industry executive Luis Simões Pereira has re-joined Saxo Bank, as a Senior Relationship Manager for LaTAM based clients.
Luis Simões Pereira comes to Saxo Bank after spending the past two years as Head of Regional Sales at rival broker EXANTE, leading regional business development and sales strategy for EXANTE across key LaTAM markets. He was previously (2017-2024) a Managing Director and then Managing Partner at DIF Broker, which later became SAKS Global.
The move to Saxo Bank marks a return to his previous employer for Luis, who worked at Saxo from 2006-2016, both at Saxo’s Copenhagen headquarters and in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he led LaTAM retail expansion strategy.
Luis’ move to Saxo also comes with a relocation from Montevideo, back to Copenhagen.
Luis posted the following note on social media about rejoining Saxo Bank.
After 14 incredible years in Uruguay, it’s time for a new chapter.
I’m grateful for everything these years gave me — the friendships, the challenges, the growth, and the privilege of working closely with so many talented people across Latin America. Uruguay became home in every sense of the word, and leaving is far from easy.
But it’s also with great excitement that I share my next step:
👉 I’m settling in Copenhagen and (re)joining Saxo Bank as a Senior Relationship Manager.
I look forward to contributing to Saxo’s growth, working with clients and partners, and continuing to build meaningful relationships in this new stage.
To everyone in Uruguay and LATAM who has been part of my personal and professional journey — thank you. The distance changes, but the connection doesn’t.
Here’s to new beginnings, and to everything that remains.
