Exclusive: Debbie Georgiou joins Scope Prime as Institutional BizDev Manager
FNG Exclusive… Following our earlier report that Debbie Georgiou, a lead executive in Retail FX and CFDs broker Deriv’s institutional liquidity arm, Deriv Prime, had left the company, FNG has learned that Debbie has now joined offshore broker Scope Prime, as Institutional Business Development Manager.
Debbie Georgiou had been with Deriv Prime, based in Cyprus, since 2022 with the title Senior Institutional Sales Executive & Squad Lead. Prior to her time at Deriv Prime, Debbie worked in senior business development roles for Exclusive Capital, and for FXPrimus.
Lochlan White, Chief Commercial Officer of Scope Prime, commented,
“As our business continues to scale, we have seen first-hand the benefit of building out an experienced, talented and localised business development team. This approach has already been a huge success across the Asia Pacific region so the creation of this dedicated role to cover EMEA is just one part of the next phase in our wider growth story. I am confident Debbie will play a key role in helping the Scope Prime team deliver against our shared objectives.”
Debbie Georgiou, Institutional Business Development Manager, Scope Prime, added,
“The growth seen by Scope Prime over the last few years has been amazing to watch. With the company becoming a true industry powerhouse, I’m delighted to be joining and look forward to making my own contribution to driving the brand’s ongoing success.”
Scope Prime has made a number of senior executive additions over the past year, including IG / ThinkMarkets alum Kea Nonyana who joined as Head of Scope Prime Africa, and Andrew Taylor as APAC head.
Scope Prime is the brand name used by RS Global Ltd, a company authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Belize (“FSC”) under the Securities Industry Act 2021 with registration number 000274/2. The company is part of London and Cyprus based Rostro Group, established in 2020 by former ACM/TradeTech (now Finalto) executive Roger Hambury, with ambitions to acquire and grow out companies in the Retail FX, CFDs, and crypto trading sector.
