Exclusive: CFDs broker Markets Act hires Mohamed Halim as CCO

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that newly launched Retail FX and CFDs broker Markets Act has hired Mohamed Halim as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Mohamed Halim, who is based in Dubai, was most recently Regional Director – MENA for TRADE.com, before leaving in 2023. He was previously Regional Head of Business Development – MENA for TeraFX (later Gildencrest Capital). Mohamed has also worked at ATFX, GKFX Prime, Noor Capital Markets, Swissquote, and HYCM.

Markets Act is launching as an offshore (Mauritius) domiciled CFDs broker, offering both the MT5 and cTrader trading platforms. The company is focusing mainly on the Arabic language and MENA markets. Markets Act is being run from Dubai, led by CEO Ramy Abouzaid, formerly Head Of Market Research at ATFX MENA.
