Exclusive: BDSwiss’ Head of Bus Dev Costa Joannides departs
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime BDSwiss executive Costa Joannides has left the company.
Costa Joannides had been with the Cyprus based Retail FX broker BDSwiss since 2017, acting as Head of Business Development for BDSwiss and its sister brand Swiss Markets. Prior to working at BDSwiss, Mr. Joannides worked at a number of online brokers including AAATrade, OptionRally, IronFX, and FXGM in a variety of sales, training, and customer support roles.
This marks the latest in a number of senior executive departures at BDSwiss, as newly installed CEO Nicolas Shamtanis is remaking the company’s management team. As was also reported exclusively here at FNG, Loukia Christoforou recently jumped from BDSwiss to CFI to head Project Management, while BDSwiss’ CMO Drosoula Hadjisavva resigned in May.
Mr. Joannides posted the following note on social media:
It has been an absolute pleasure being part of BDSwiss for so long, however, the time has come for us to go our separate ways. So many memories that will live with me forever and make me wiser in my future decisions. Thank you to my teams for always making every day interesting and entertaining. I wish the company and my colleagues success for the future.
