Exclusive: Andy Ross leaves LSEG to head Prime Brokerage at StanChart
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that experienced financial markets executive Andy Ross has left his position in the senior management group at the London Stock Exchange Group (LON:LSEG), to join Standard Chartered Bank as the new Global Head of Prime Brokerage at StanChart.
Andy Ross was recruited to head up and build LSEG’s CurveGlobal unit in 2016. CurveGlobal was then a new interest rate derivatives venture between LSEG, seven major dealer banks, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange. CurveGlobal was shut down earlier this year, after its shareholders decided to withhold the necessary funding to continue the project.
Prior to joining LSEG / CurevGlobal in 2016, Andy Ross spent 16 years at Morgan Stanley, becoming European Head of OTC clearing for the US investment bank.
