FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Australia based Retail FX and CFDs broker ACY Securities has continued to build its capabilities in the Middle East, hiring Jordan based executive Joseph Makhamreh as Market Research Analyst – MENA Region.

We had also reported exclusively back in August that ACY promoted Alla Darwish to the position of Managing Director MENA, indicating its plans to expand its footprint in the MENA and Arabic language markets.

Joseph Makhamreh joins ACY from Jordan based broker Capital Investments, headed by Jordan’s former Minister of Finance Bassem Al-Salem. Mr. Makhamreh first joined Capital Investments’ sister company Capital Bank in 2016. He holds a Master’s degree, Finance and Financial Management Services, from the University of Jordan – Institute of Banking.

ACY Securities is an ASIC licensed broker, that traditionally has focused mainly on the Chinese language market. It is run out of Sydney, Australia led by CEO Jimmy Ye.
