FX and crypto ECN Spotex LLC has announced the appointment of Ivan Wong as Managing Director, APAC Head of Sales and Distribution.

In his new role, Ivan Wong will be based in Singapore reporting directly to John Miesner, Spotex CEO.

Ivan Wong has extensive institutional experience in both Foreign Exchange and Digital Assets. He has led teams across Asia inclusive of Hong Kong and greater China. Before joining Spotex, Wong served as the Head of APAC account management at Coinbase. In his role he implemented and managed cross selling and upselling campaigns across the Coinbase suite of products. Additional responsibilities included client servicing, client on-boarding, and marketing.

Previously, Wong held the position as Head of Greater China for BidFX, a SGX company. Heading a team of Sales and Account Managers, he was responsible for developing and implementing new business development and client retention. He has also previously worked at 360T, ICAP, Integral and OANDA.
