London based prime-of-prime broker and liquidity solutions provider iSAM Securities has announced the appointment of Chris Twort as the company’s new Head of Trading.

With over 30 years of trading experience in the financial services industry, 10 years of which are within the iSAM group, Chris Twort is well equipped to step into his new role, expanding his previous position as Head of Trading and Execution at iSAM Funds (UK) Limited (“iSAM Funds”).

Chris began his career as a manual trader at a variety of globally renowned institutions such as UBS, National Australia Bank, Royal Bank of Canada and Rabobank, before joining the iSAM group as part of the e-Trading team back in 2015. In making this move, Chris witnessed the rise of electronic trading first hand, giving him valuable insight into the automation that now defines this financial landscape. Today, iSAM Funds trades across more than 600 markets, with the vast majority being automated—a testament to the rapid technological advancements Chris has helped spearhead throughout his career.

In his expanded role Chris will ensure that iSAM Securities continues to offer its clients a sophisticated and comprehensive trading experience, working with global teams across the brand. His breadth of knowledge, spanning both manual and electronic trading, gives him a unique edge in a highly competitive industry. This expertise enables iSAM Securities to provide granular, market-specific feedback to its clients, empowering them to improve their strategies and optimise performance.
