Britannia hires King & Shaxson’s Alex Cooper as Senior Sales Trader
Britannia Global Markets, the FCA regulated financial services firm specialising in derivatives broking including foreign exchange, energy, agriculture, base metals and financial products, has announced that it has appointed Alex Cooper as Senior Sales Trader. Alex is a highly experienced specialist with an extensive industry background in financial services and will be focusing on multi-asset products.
Alex Cooper commenced his career in the British Army before joining Credit Lyonnais Rouse as a Board Director where he led a team of ninety across sales desks globally. After a brief time at Tullett Prebon, Alex joined Morgan Stanley as a Director and EMEA Head of Futures Sales. After eight years at Morgan Stanley, Alex’s career has included positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, HSBC, Nomura, Marex Spectron, BGC Partners, RJ O’Brien and most recently King & Shaxson, where was Director of Agency Broking for the past two years.
