Australia based institutional broker 26 Degrees has seen the departure of yet another senior executive from its Cyprus office, with the company’s Chief Risk Officer EMEA, Vasilis Sotiriou, leaving to rejoin IC Markets as Global Head of Risk. He will work out of IC Markets’ Cyprus office.
Vasilis Sotiriou joined 26 Degrees, then known as Invast Global, in 2021 as Head Of Risk Management, before being named Chief Risk Officer EMEA earlier this year. Prior to his time at 26 Degrees / Invast, Vasilis worked at IC Markets EU from 2017-2020 as a Senior Dealer and Group Risk Manager.
Other executives to recently leave 26 Degrees include Lochlan White, now Chief Commercial Officer at Scope Prime, and 26 Degrees Cyprus CEO Riana Chaili, who has joined prop trading firm FTMO.
