In 2025 Jon Noble, former COO of IG Group, became CEO of Trade Nation. The company also onboarded former IG Group executive, and former Capital.com CEO, Kypros Zoumidou, as Managing Director. Trade Nation has continued since on something of a hiring spree, adding Wirex executive Philippe Capelle as CMO, Finalto alum Luis dos Santos as CEO Portugal, and former IG executive Emma Mensah as Head of Customer Success, among other hires.
Results explanation
Back to the 2025 results, Trade Nation indicated that the UK retail market resulted in an increased turnover under its FCA license and continues to be a key operational jurisdiction for the business. Overall turnover including management charges increased in 2025, other related entities operating in different jurisdictions, which are supported by the company, continued to see growth in customer numbers. The income derived from overseas is in relation to group management charges which are not regulated by the FCA.
The investment and development of the UK entity, in particular a steady increase in staff headcount, client numbers and trading levels has resulted in an overall net profit in 2025. The company remains optimistic about the future and will continue to invest in new opportunities as they arise.
