Saxo Bank trading volumes slow 5% in June 2022 to $399B
Client trading volumes at Copenhagen based Retail FX and CFDs broker Saxo Bank dipped below the $400 billion level for just the second time this year, with June 2022 activity coming in at $398.8 billion.
Total activity at Saxo Bank was down by 5.4% from May’s $421.6 billion, led by a 12.7% decline in Equity trading, from $220.1 billion in May to $192.1 billion last month.
In summary for June:
- FX trading volumes $152.5 billion, +2% MoM.
- Equities $192.1 billion, -13%.
- Commodities $38.7 billion, -6%.
- Fixed Income $15.6 billion, +46%.
So far in 2022 Saxo Bank is averaging $413 billion in monthly trading volumes, up nicely (by 34%) from $308 billion in 2021.
Saxo Bank is controlled by Chinese conglomerate Geely Group.
